a home

I was out house-hunting with my family this afternoon, and saw a house that I like in a friendly neighborhood with quite a few kids playing on the street. While I was taking a picture of the house and was thinking to take a picture of the for-sale sign with the agent's info, one of the girls who was playing on the street with her friends ran fast to the sign and tried to hide it. As I walked closer to the house, she said to me:
"I don't want to move, please don't buy my house."

My heart was melted. Obviously, it is NOT just a house for her, she is emotionally attached, maybe to that place, maybe to her friends around. For her, it is a homeland, it is happiness, it is memories, it is childhood, it is relationship...

Leaving my home, what did I lose, what did I gain?
